I graduated with a BBA degree from Georgia State University with a double major in real estate and finance.  For the ten years leading up to the creation of Heritage Group, I built a great career in the commercial real estate industry in Atlanta, Georgia.  I began my career where I think every commercial real estate specialist should, in an appraisal firm.  That job gave me an excellent foundation of understanding real estate principals that has served me well.  After a short stint in the appraisal business, I spent 10 years in the commercial mortgage lending business, most recently as 2nd in command in the underwriting department at one of the top producing companies in the industry.  Over the past 10 years, I have conducted commercial real estate transactions totaling over a billion dollars. 

As Atlanta continued to explode over the last 10 years and commutes went from long to ridiculous, my yearning to get back to a small town, like the one where I was born in south Georgia, got the best of me.  My wife and I fell in love with the atmosphere and the thriving business growth of upstate SC.   After a lot of consideration, my wife Leigh-Anne and I decided to relocate with our two young boys to beautiful Lake Hartwell.  As our first year comes to a close, I must say it was the best decision of our lives.

I created Heritage Group Real Estate Advisors to provide an unsurpassed level of service in commercial and residential real estate transactions in upstate SC.  While my background and specialty is commercial real estate, I have also spent a lot of time educating myself on the local residential real estate market, both on and off of the beautiful lakes that surround us. 
My pledge to our clients and customers is that I only hire the best agents.  I don’t mean that an agent must complete a certain number of transactions every year to work for Heritage Group, I mean that I hire professional, responsive, kind people that treat everyone around them with respect.  You will receive the utmost responsiveness and professionalism from me and my agents.
